Disposable napkins contributes to more greenhouse gas emissions then reusable cloth napkins. The manufacturing process, packaging for consumers, transportation of these products to distribution centers,  retail stores, and finally to the end user all adds to the overall environmental impact. In the end, disposable napkins are not recyclable after use and end up in landfills or even nature.  That cycle is then repeated over and over again.
